The 12 most valuable city parks in the world

With cities around the world getting ever more crowded, the pressure on green spaces grows daily. But, should developers want to get their hands on our parks, they would have to stump up some truly astronomical sums.

Analysis by garden equipment specialists Flymo suggests San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park is the world’s most valuable green space, worth a staggering £35.5bn.
