17th century 'Poldark cottages' go on the market for £400,000

Three tumble down cottages on the stunning Cornwall moors made famous as the backdrop for the hit TV show Poldark have gone on the market for £400,000.

Canaglaze, on Bodmin Moor, was abandoned in the 1960s and has no roof or windows, no power or running water. It’s currently owned by a pair of artists who have offered it for sale through Knight Frank.

There is planning permission to turn what’s left of the traditional stone-built cottages into a single home, right where the BBC One show was filmed.
