Adele named richest musician under 30 but old rockers dominate Sunday Times Rich List

The world’s richest music stars have been revealed – and the wrinkliest of rockers continue to dominate. In fact, the only member of the younger generation to challenge their position is Adele, who squeaks into the top 20 with a fortune of £125 million.

The rankings, compiled by the Sunday Times as part of its comprehensive Rich List series, confirms another hit album coupled with a record-breaking world tour brought 29-year-old Adele an estimated additional £40 million in the last year.
