McLaren has revealed it’s most insane hypercar to date. Taking its name from legendary Formula One racing driver Ayrton Senna, it will cost at least £750,000 and just 500 of them will be made.

Such is the anticipation of the McLaren Senna that all 500 models have already been snapped up – even though the first one will not be ready for delivery until late next year.

With a 4-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine, motoring journalists reckon it will get go from 0 to 62mph in under three seconds and easily top 200mph.

McLaren say: “Inspired by one of McLaren’s greatest racing drivers, the McLaren Senna is utterly dedicated to allowing the driver to be the best they can possibly be.”
