Barker and Stonehouse has partnered with Lick to create a limited-edition painted furniture range. Spanning across three ranges and seven glorious colours, the collection combines crafted furniture with on-trend sustainable paints.
'Colour in the home has made a huge resurgence over the last couple of years but it's been hard to find exciting colourful cabinetry outside of kitchens and the bespoke sector. Bridging this gap is where the idea for the Barker and Stonehouse X Lick furniture range began,' says Claire Hornby, Head of Creative at Barker and Stonehouse.
Whether you're decorating your bedroom or furnishing your living room, simply choose one of the gorgeous storage solutions (there are 15 products to choose from including bedside tables, dressing tables and chest of drawers), then select one of the seven planet-friendly Lick paint colours to make it your own.
There are three furniture ranges – Olivia, Quinn and Theodore. Fluted fronts and elegant brass hardware are found throughout the Olivia and Quinn ranges, whilst Theodore encapsulates a classic modern country look with mango-wood tops and sleek black metal handles.
Each piece in the collection is made from sustainably sourced timber. This, combined with Lick’s water-based, low VOC paint, makes for what Barker and Stonehouse describe as a 'beautifully conscious combination'. Additionally, each piece is hand painted to order, and once an item is delivered, a tree will be planted in partnership with Barker and Stonehouse's reforestation programme, Trees4Trees.
