The Most Stunning Ferris Wheels Around the World

London's iconic wheel opened in 2000 and at 135 meters, is Europe's tallest observation wheel.

China's 120-meter Tianjin Eye is reportedly the only Ferris wheel built over a bridge: it straddles the Yongle Bridge over the Hai River.

The soon-to-open attraction in the United Arab Emirates will be the world's tallest at 250 meters; it was built with 9,000 tons of steel.

Fun fact about this Ferris wheel, which starts back up every year for the Texas State Fair: it was built in Italy and shipped to the Lone Star State in the 1980s.

While perhaps not as "stunning" as some others, the 100-year-old Wonder Wheel of Brooklyn's Coney Island has something others don't: interior cars that slide down tracks and swing back and forth as the wheel turns.
