Well, new figures from the Health and Safety Executive show Britain’s deadliest jobs are far more mundane than lion taming; in fact, people working in the construction industry are most at risk of suffering a fatality.

Almost 200 people died on the UK building sites between 2011 and 2016 – here’s a look at the other riskiest professions in the country – ranked.
