These are richest countries in the world

The Swiss are the richest people in the world, a new study has found, while Brits trail in a creditable 10th.

The Global Wealth Report by Credit Suisse found the Alpine country is by far the richest in the world.

Wealth per adult has passed $500,000 (around £400,000), a mark that no other country comes near.

Britain, by contrast, recorded a wealth per adult of $288,000 (£232,000).

Still it was not all bad news, we finished well above the 15th-place French, who managed a wealth per adult of just over 244,000, or £196,000
