The A to Z of things we were obsessed with in the 2010s

It’s almost time to wave goodbye to 2019. This time round, however, we’re not just preparing to enter a new year, but an entirely new decade.

That’s right come January 1st we’re full-on entering the 2020s.

But we can’t just ring in a shiny, new decade without taking a look back over the previous one, and the obsessions that defined it.

Of course, it’s pretty easy to tick off some of our more recent fixations (Fortnite, ‘Love Island’ and the ‘Great British Bake Off’ to name but a few), but there are plenty of things that have likely slipped right off our radar if we rewind all the way back to 2010.

From Instagram to the Obamas, Yahoo UK reflects on the things we’ve totally obsessed over this last ten years to bring you the definitive A-Z of the 2010s.
