Nice run up in the last month for Brown Forman. With the hot summer people are probably drinking more cocktails. I know the bars here on Cape Cod are doing FANTASTIC. Brown lawns equal green cash registers. The wicked drought here has brought lots of tourists. I keep adding thru the DRIP.....will HOLD this for as long as I can! Enjoy the rest of your summers!

I’ve held this stock since the mid-80’s. This is my crown jewel.

This stock has slowly climbed back to basically the highs over the past several months. I think eventually the shares reach $100. Also own STZ and DEO. All 3 have made me wealthy over the past several years.

Well, seeing as how I got no feedback. I think earnings will be amazing. I’ve been stuck at home for 3 months, and I’ve enjoyed more than once some of BFB’s fine products. So have many of friends. Bars may have been closed, but liquor store was open. There is so much beer one can stomach...after all

Mr. Johan Pedersen is how I became financially free, don’t invest in stocks or crypto unless you have the right information. I lost $490k myself trying to start a business but made a huge profit since Pedersen came. I have seen more than $830k using his blessings strategies. You can contact him via 🆃🅴🅻🅴🅶🆁🅼 : Johanpeddersen

The reported looming favorable change in EU whisky tariffs is great news for the company.

If only more people knew what an opportunity this stock is to purchase. This company continues to add value for the investor. It’s one of the most stable and safest investment out there. The potential for further growth knows no bounds. Once the tariff situation with China is solved this stock will explode!!!

I'd like to ask a question to long term holders that have gone through the covid situation with this stock. I see that it has dropped down to the 40"s which would have been great to purchase more when that happened and it's since recovered quite well. Do you as current investors believe that the price is over valued or have you been happy with it performance over the years and would recommend a position if some of your friends asked about it?

Evidently BF-b paid a special div. today.

Looks as though higher input costs (i.e. cost of goods sold), was the reason for the gross margin pressures this quarter. SG&A expenses rose as well. However sales were incredibly strong. Overall I think shareholders are missing the forest for the trees here. I expect BF-B to wipe out the loss over the next few days to weeks. The sell side analysts are bearish on the stock but I really have no clue why they would be as business is booming for them, as well as peers DEO and STZ. I expect alcohol sales to remain the same over time even with economic reopening. People aren't going to like booze any less because the economy reopens.

This is because of the shares splitting right?

I gotta say, this thing just trades weird. Giant swings from High to Low, esp around dividend time. I still think it is a great anti-recession play with a nice 2.5% div yield, but just curious why it's so volatile for what I would think would be a boring, stable stock.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of the Brown Forman Investors and employees. I have been a VERY happy shareholder for going on 2 decades. This forum used to be very active many years ago with some interesting characters. There was a long saga about a "cabin" somewhere in Kentucky. I will keep accumulating BFB shares. Enjoy the holidays......GO UMASS!

They did a market survey and discovered it was going to take a lot of alcohol for us all to tolerate being in close quarters with everyone again as COVID gets lifted. Good for BF-B!

I am still LONG on BF-B and have been since the 1990s. Doing the DRIP to accumulate more shares. Only reason I would sell my shares is if I find an affordable house on Nantucket. So I will probably hold forever! Great job by all Brown employees and management.

The sell side analysts have just 1 buy rating on BF-B, however I think they are very wrong in their views. We just picked up more shares today. Alcohol is still going to be consumed in vast quantities whether the economy is open or closed. I am firmly convinced $100 is in BF-B’s future. I also own STZ and DEO. Alcohol thrives regardless of the economy being open or closed. Now that bars and restaurants are back open for the most part that means even more sales for these 3 companies. I believe the reaction from the street to BF-B’s most recent earnings report was missing the forest for the trees. The highs are coming back. Not a question of if they are coming back but when.

Bought a big bottle of Jack on Cape Cod this weekend. Hope this helps with our depletion numbers. This is a great company. Will keep accumulating BFB at these levels. With the new "keto" diets in fad more people will be drinking distilled liquors instead of beer. Enjoy the Fall everyone.
