Vidrala sees slightly higher 2024 net profit after Brazil's acquisition
Spanish glass bottle maker Vidrala expects net profit this year to be slightly higher than in 2023 as the purchase of Brazil's Vidroporto will likely offset weakness in Europe, the company's head of investor relations said on Wednesday. The company booked a net profit of 233.4 million euros in 2023 ($253.43 million). Vidrala's net profit fell 6% in the first six months of 2024 from a year ago to 120.8 million euros.
