The stock market is in bear market territory and America is probably in a recession. Unless VW and Porsche are going bankrupt (which I doubt ) this could be a once in a life time buying opportunity . I remember when Ford was selling for $1.00 a share. Its painful watching your stock go down every day but I'm not selling at all time lows.jmho

Germany's energy crisis is trickling down to its industrial sector. Volkswagen (VOW.DE) CEO Herbert Diess said the automaker is having to use coal instead of natural gas at the on-site power plants that provide energy to its factories in Germany. Diess also warned that the company’s shift away from Russian energy as a result of the war in Ukraine isn't happening fast enough. Diess made the comments remotely today at the Qatar Economic Forum in Doha. “It’s going probably not fast enough” Diess said about the transition.

SAO PAULO (Reuters) - Volkswagen AG is set to cut working hours and wages at its Sao Bernardo do Campo factory in Brazil as it grapples with a lack of auto parts and electronic components to assemble its vehicles. $vwapy should have paid $0.79 in dividend. It paid $0.53 .79 (1-.85) = foreign tax.= $0.1185. $0.6715 should have been dividend. $0.14 was stolen lol. Typical Volkswagen culture lol. First they cheated on emissions. Now on dividend. I will sell volkswagen tomorrow and will buy $STLA. More reputable company. Best of luck to all.

VW has released preliminary figures for Q1 and they look extremely good. 8.5B operating profit before special items and special items includes 3.5B positive increase on hedging items. VW has also release Q1 vehicle delivery figures, which show BEV ramping, but sales have been limited by the chip shortage.
