Goldman Sachs recently wrote copper will reach $15000 a ton. The price of copper now is approximately $10000 a ton.

Well there it is folks. CGAU announced a special meeting on 7/25/22 to approve the deal which Kyrgyzstan agreed to concerning the Kumtor mine. Kyrgyzstan will relinquish all of its shares it currently owns in CGAU. In addition, Kyrgyzstan agrees to cancel all taxes, penalties, liabilities, etc. that it imposed on CGAU. CGAU is finally free of the K-krooks. And one last point. CGAU will be able to free itself of a badly flawed gold mine which will need hundreds of millions of dollars in order to restore it to previous levels of production. Unfortunately Kyrgyzstan has virtually no money to accomplish this. Lol.

Early morning overseas trading (6/13/22) has Bitcoin lower by almost 8%. Gold anyone? Lol.

1/3 of their production is still offline, in a mine that's filled with HG still no update... laughable. Stock should be re priced 30% lower on that fact alone but hasn't yet, and then much more lower if/when gold tanks.

Many gold and silver miners are loaded with cash. For example, SSR Mining has 1.03B in cash and 460M in long-term debt. It won't be long before it is bought out or makes an offer to buy another miner.

The central Asian crocodile has been spotted in the pond at the Kumtor mine in Kyrgyzstan. OK, it's just a joke. Lol.

A few days ago, the big South African gold miner, Goldfields, made an offer to buy Yamana. And the M&A activity in the gold space continues. Lol.

Gold is now entering into its historically weak period. With rising interest rates, gold could test 1750 again and silver below 20.

I'm not going to be an apologist for Jim Cramer on this MB. However unlike a number of other posters here who have mercilessly attacked him, I have over time praised many of his predictions. And you certainly would have made a lot of money with his recommendations of AAPL, COST. HD, AMZN, etc. throughout the years. However on June 8th, he recommended the purchase of Bitcoin and Enthereum. Hmmmm. Lol.

Lol. Skippy. You will likely laugh.
Turns out that I actually own 4 shares of CGAU. I logged into an old brokerage account that I never look at — and there it was. All of about $35. I’m not sure what I should do with it. LOL.

    Progress, from yesterday –
BISHKEK -- "A court in Kyrgyzstan has canceled a lower court decision to fine Canadian company Centerra Gold 261.7 billion soms ($3.2 billion) for what were described as violations of environmental laws when it ran the Kumtor gold mine.
The Bishkek City Court did not explain its decision when handing it down late on May 24.
In May 2021, the Oktyabr (October) district court in Bishkek found the Canadian gold miner guilty of indulging in the illegal practice of placing waste rock on glaciers.
The court ruling followed the passing of a bill by the Central Asian nation's lawmakers that allowed the federal government to temporarily seize the Kumtor mine.
Last month, Kyrgyzstan took over the mine after President Sadyr Japarov's government reached an out-of-court settlement with Centerra Gold.
On April 4, Centerra made the agreement public, showing it received all of its common shares held by the state-owned company Kyrgyzaltyn, while Kyrgyzaltyn got a 100 percent stake in the company’s two Kyrgyz subsidiaries, Kumtor Gold Company CJSC and Kumtor Operating Company.
Kumtor had been the target of financial and environmental disagreements for years before turning into the subject of a control battle between the Kyrgyz state and Centerra Gold.
Japarov's government insisted that Centerra's operations endangered human lives and the environment, which the company denied.
Many Kyrgyz lawmakers have expressed concern about an alleged lack of transparency at Kumtor since the Kyrgyz government took control of the gold mine."

    Kyrgz trying to get'er done...

Gold and silver simply cannot hold a bid. Gold may test 1800 or even lower. As for silver, I have no idea. Bah.
