Manulife has around 24$ of equity per share, good debt to interest coverage , trading at around the 25$ range, it is a strong and safe stock to put your money in for thé dividend, slow appreciation but strong stock ovrl, worth the buy at any price before the 28-30$ range

you invest in this stock for the dividend, not likely to have much growth for next several quarters. It's cheap though !

MFC is a fun stock to trade for med term. This is the third round I buy at C$16-C$18 range and sell at C23-$24 range. This pattern happens every couple of years. I do think this time around, it may be able to push close to C$30 due to LTC, so that is good for the long. However, in a year or two, it may start to drift down again. So, do pay attention to its earnings when COVID effect is gone. Good luck to you all. I will get back in when I see the teens again in a year or two but I suspect I may have to shifted in at higher teen next round depends on how far this push turns out to be.

Movement to value stocks for consistency and decent dividends. Manulife remains inexpensive.

Why not just stick with the bank stocks, way less volitile, better dividend, better growth, better returns since 2008. Manulife still hasn’t recovered

What's the stimulus for this increase? Still the vaccine news? I Invested at 20.52 in August and again at 18.43 about a month ago. Holding this for the long haul but just curious as to why the sudden increase.

Company seems good, but stock is slightly expensive by 20 to 25%. Short term uncertainty demands lower price up to October / November 2021. If it drops, I will buy. This is Christmas time so everything good and bad is trading at very high valuations. I am slightly bearish in the short term.
