Great News - TSMC’s forecast that Intel’s foundry aspirations are doomed, is coming true. TSMC predicted that Intel will not be able to assemble a US based supply chain, and even if they could, it would be cost prohibitive, and would take a decade.

It took 9 months, but Pat Gelsinger (Intel CEO), has finally realized that TSMC’s forecast may be true. So, what did Pat try next…China. The US was quick to put the kabash on Pat’s China rescue dreams.

Pat’s either not to bright or a weasel, thinking that improving China’s semiconductor supply chain would be good for US.

Trust me, being the rocket surgeon Pat is, he will now turn his efforts towards the EU and I’m predicting he will ultimately receive the same slap-down from US regulators.

It's a Jailbreak! Today's TSM $127 level has broken out of the long time 125 resistance level going back to April 2021. Hopefully a leap to 140 by end of year.

Doesn’t more covid = greater sustained digitization pressure = even more need for semis?

Incredible, despite fundamentals this stock seems to be STUCK in a 110-120 range. Easy/safe trade, frustrating longs

Market: "Hey let's buy all these chip designers that are going to be so profitable but sell TSM the only chip manufacturer that all these chip designers depend on and the only company with the technology to manufacture their designs".

Higher lows, higher highs. Just take a look at the chart. Strong fundamentals drive this higher over time.

The US is spending $52 billion on semiconductors while Korea is spending $250 bllion. How is can the US keep up with such a small amount.

Very good opportunity, next week $140

Good opp. to pick some TSM

Seems like all semis getting walloped. NVDA, AMD and others. This is not TSM specific. Makes no difference in the long run. GL

tsm and qualcomm are gonna start moving quick! only chip companies that are still undervalued
  • M
TSM is best in class worldwide. However, it needs prominent spokepersons to go on US investment channels to provide US investors updates. In the US, AMD and NVDA get a lot of air time and spotlights which make them "hot".
  • K
    Bullish trend

Japan is going to pay half the cost for the new TSMC fabs. That means, more money left for TSMC to implement 1nm and buy more jam donuts for staff.
