The company is involved in the refining of crude oil; selling of refined petroleum products; and producing and selling of olefins, including ethylene, propylene, butadiene, and BTX. Its products include gasoline, diesel, liquefied petroleum gas, jet fuel/kerosene, naphtha, petrochemical raw material, fuel oil/asphalt/sulphur, base oil, and lubricants. The company also produces and sells water, electricity, and steam. In addition, it engages in the retailing; transportation; oil exploration; leasing of ships; and investing activities. The company was incorporated in 1992 and is headquartered in Mailiao, Taiwan.
