What’s the difference between this one and MARUF?

New all time high set today, but still a value @ $15 in earnings. Also need to consider depreciated book value of assets. Also a bargain, considering replacement cost.

As of 4/1/22 Marubeni repurchased 15,225,400 shares of stock (or approximately 1% of the outstanding) and about 2/3rds of the authorized 30BB yen has been used for repurchases. FYE 3/2022 financials to be released early May.

Part of the group Buffet just bought...

Today's announcement on selling Gavilon assets appears to be a win/win. Glencore gets their expansion and Marubeni keeps select terminals and all fertilizer assets (complimenting its US agronomic retail business) all while recovering impairments.

Still holding all shares acquired sub $44. It's been a great 2021, and I still think more upside in '22.

MARUY should definetly be bought in Yen. (DO IT THROUGH NOMURA PREFERABLY OR FIDELITY ET AL). This is a defensive play that if bought in Yen in effect will pay 15% if you start the transction in U.S. dollars. In U.S. dollars it will yield 0% IMO. I believe Morgan Stanley's chief of U.S. equites Mike Wilson who said this week he expects the U.S. dollar will devalue 10%.

MARUY. No options available YET. Uncle Warren is involved to the tune of 5%.
