Where do they get $ to pay out dividend when net loss is $6.5 mil for Q3???

An after market bump to $16.33 on October 29, having disappeared at opening on the 30th and at opening this morning a nanosecond bump to $16.00 with immediate drop to near yesterday closing. Anyone out there know why or how this happens, doesn't seem legit to me, is it concerning? Thoughts appreciated.

DEFINITELY A BUY right now even after 20% increase today. It will be 15$ in next 2 weeks... so that is still 20 to 30 % profit from today.....financial statements are strong as well specially with recent quarter results

Even if it's not a huge purchase, we think it was good to see that Daniel Ryan, the Independent Chairman of Absolute Software Corporation (TSE:ABST) recently shelled out CA$124k to buy stock, at CA$12.35 per share. Although the purchase is not a big one, increasing their shareholding by only 8.5%, it can be interpreted as a good sign.

Long term investors will not lose with this stock. Solid fundamentals, special in what it does. This company is still under a billion in market cap. Huge room to grow.

Public Offering was fully exercised! Thats amazing. Shows incredible confidence. 6.5 Million shares purchased when Avg. Vol. is 200-300k

What is triggering the down today ?

6 months ago, this was a $14 USD stock... and then management gave some gloomy guidance and the stock fell and fell and fell until it hit a low of $7.22 USD/share. But these results last night show us that the guidance that was given was way too conservative. This company is back to producing where we all thought it should have 6 months ago. So while the price has climbed 12+% as I type to $9.04 USD/share, I think it still has 54% to go as it climbs all the way back to $14/share (and perhaps beyond).

wth is going on

I guessed we are going to sideways in this CAD$17 - CAD18 level
Until a new great announcement are release?
Or new greed traders/investors come along and start buying :-)

I just can't get over the market and its inefficiency in pricing certain stocks. War, inflation, uncertainty... I get it for stocks like TSLA with massive growth built into the price... these sorts of stocks should take a big hit at times like these. But stocks generating significant cash flow in a repeatable subscription-based business should be the stocks that scared investors should be flocking to. Is ABST too small for most to notice? Maybe. But why is anyone owning it selling it?

They outperformed in this quarter and surprise EPS of 0.13 per share while the expected by analyst was -0.06 huge difference so that is why it is up today, will finish strong. To the moon lol 20$ within 6 months.....
