Analyst Dan Dolev from Mizuho just said now is the time to buy Fintech and he and others said Affirm looks pretty interesting at these levels.

Target, Amazon and Walmart are still selling BILLIONS of dollars of merchandise and Affirm is still financing a lot of it. Target Revenue rose 4% to $25.17 billion. Same-store sales climbed by 3.3%. Walmart's revenue rose 2.4% year over year to $141.6 billion! The issue with these companies is profitability that is being eaten away by inflation. That’s not an issue with Affirm as they just proved in their earnings call last week. Ignore the noise and understand that Max has designed software that will allow Affirm to operate their business model in all macro economic environments. BNPL is here to stay and so is Affirm.

This is all about the Nasdaq crashing AGAIN and has NOTHING to do with Affirm fundamentals. The markets will eventually correct back up and Affirm will explode higher. When this happens is anybody’s guess but it will happen eventually. We can’t control the market mood swings but at least we know Max and Affirm are executing the business model and will thrive going forward.

Don’t forget these chains like Walmart and Target have huge inventories of seasonal goods that they have to move quickly. They will have to reduce prices to encourage consumers to buy them. Gas prices and COVID are discouraging consumers from driving and shopping in brick and mortar stores. Many will be purchasing online and Affirm will benefit. Just look at this growth from last quarter. Active merchants increased from 12,000 to 207,000 in just over a year, and total active consumers were up by 140% YoY to 12.7 million. WOW!

These markets need some Advil. Unfortunately we can’t change the markets mood swings but we can take advantage of them by averaging in on days like this. AFRM is a long term hold that is just beginning to tap into the TRILLION dollar BNPL industry. If you have any concerns about Affirm just go back and read the transcript from the recent earnings call a couple of weeks ago. Max is building a powerhouse that will dominate the Fintech industry for many years. Don’t bet against Max Levchin.

Be patient, the numbers don’t lie. Affirm has FIVE consecutive beats including last week’s third fiscal quarter results. All metrics came in above expectations and guidance is upbeat for the remainder of the fiscal year. On an operating basis, Affirm remains on a hyper growth streak with active merchants scaling from 12,000 to 207,000 in just over a year, and total active consumers up by 140% YoY to 12.7 million. Gross merchandise value stood at $3.9 billion during the quarter, an increase of 70% YoY. Affirm reported $355 million in revenues, up 54% YoY, compared to $230 million a year ago. While the company still burned $51 million ($0.19 per share), the bottom line has come a long way up since last year's $284 million ($1.21 per share) loss.
The losses during the quarter were mainly owing to stock compensation arising from acquisitions and warrants issued to partners like Amazon to become exclusive service providers. Even in the face of these headwinds, management expects to reach operating profitability by the end of 2023, and in the meantime, Affirm has a relatively robust balance sheet with $2.6 billion in cash to anchor $4 billion in debt, giving it a steady runway. Affirm will trading MANY multiples higher in the next couple of years. Max designed Affirms software to handle any market conditions. Don’t bet against Max.

Look at the volume! Tutes are gobbling up your shares. I wonder why!🤔
I’m not selling a single share until AFRM is well north of $100.

Institutions like Morgan Stanley, Vanguard and Capital Research are loading up on Affirm shares. Unfortunately Yahoo won’t let me post the link. Yahoo seems to care more about spammers than factual information related to stocks. 🤬🙄

Unfortunately Affirm is being held down with the very volatile markets. At least we do know when markets improve Affirm will quickly move higher. Max has confirmed that Affirm is designed to withstand all market conditions including rising interest rates and inflation. Patient investors will eventually be rewarded handsomely.

Affirm is still in its infancy and should dominate not only BNPL but possibly the entire credit industry. Every so often a new disruptor enters an industry with a better business model and destroys the competition. Amazon did it, Apple did it, Google did as did Netflix. You don’t always have to create a new industry, you just have to find a way to do it better than everyone else. I believe Affirm will be that company in the Fintech industry.
