Anyone looking for true FINTECH exposure should look at $SOFI — AFRM is insolvent with a terrible balance sheet; they will be bankrupt soon. Meanwhile, SOFI's diversified business model has proven to be a winning strategy.

    Buy $SOFI
    Short $AFRM

On Thursday, analysts at Mizuho came out with a research note citing promising trends for Affirm's 30-day delinquencies, which looked to be declining in August. And while 60- and 90-day delinquencies continued to rise last month, the increases appeared to be at a lower rate. Consistently rising delinquencies have been a key concern. Mizuho maintained a buy rating and a $42 price target, reported The Fly. This will be an interesting metric to watch, particularly in a slowing economy.

This economy is ruined until there is new strong leadership. Depression is looming and imminent.

affirm is not worth $19 --- $5 billion

it's service has become a commodity

with much bigger players who have much stronger customers with much better credit

affirm's losses amongst bad debts have grown too high

Investment management company Bireme Capital recently covered their Affirm short position and gave this statement as the reason why.

“We think the current valuation is much more reasonable, and we do believe that Affirm will eventually generate profits from its lending platform, so we covered our short position.” 🤔

The bad FedEx news last week is actually good for Amazon AND Affirm.

BofA is confident that Buy-rated Amazon (AMZN) could be seeing market share gains and should be more overall resilient than peers to some of the macro pressures.

Analyst Justin Post's AMZN breakdown: "1) Amazon no longer ships with Fedex; 2) Amazon has well over 50% of volumes in the US, 3) Amazon likely has a higher-income avg consumer than Big-3 competitors (Walmart, Target, EBAY), and saw no discernable trade-down in Q2 away from discretionary items; 4) With Amazon’s wide third party selection and fast delivery speeds, we expect some share gains from competitors that may be using Fedex."

BofA expects added Q3 strength for AMZN vs. the industry due to Prime Day.

Looks like they want to retest the recent $22 low. Technically a bounce off of that will be very positive. Unfortunately the overall markets are so Fooked up it’s hard to say what’s going to happen in the near future. What we do know is Affirm is doing so well Max is on the lookout for extremely undervalued companies in the BNPL sector that would benefit from his proprietary technology. What we also know is that Affirm will come out of this even stronger with more market share because that’s what great companies do.
