This company is involved in some exciting ventures, if they can execute.

Great stream, as always. I appreciate the level-headed approach you take to the news and the markets. A lot has changed and that's on everything but the truth is I don't even care much about bullish or bearish market anymore because Trisha Hanson got me cover as I am comfortably making 3.1B T C monthly..

No earnings, no cash flow, a PE of N/A, sounds like it will trade below the 52-week low, given the current monetary environment.

I see the Mobileye spin-off as a double edged sword. The IPO of Mobileye will serve to siphon off investor capitol in this area and adds additional name recognition/competition and an ability for investors to make another pure play in this growing high tech area of investing. Prior to this you needed to purchase INTC to get exposure to Mobileye, now it becomes a "pure play"

On the other side a 50 billion valuation of Mobileye sets a benchmark valuation for other companies in the sector, and should AMBA ever get purchased by some large entity, the valuation of Mobileye will give credence to a high valuation for AMBA.

IN addition, Mobileye also has, IIRC, about a 40% share of business in this sector already; so a 50 billion valuation is for a large piece of the pie. I'm not sure how big AMBA's piece of the pie is comparatively I would guess AMBA's share of this segment is a lot smaller.

The key to AMBA becoming a giant in this sector depends on IF and WHO might eventually buy AMBA and what the price tag for entry might be.

And also remember that INTC will still retain majority share of control of Mobileye after the spin off. That has many other ramifications with respect to control, finance and direction of Mobileye.

All that said I still think that AMBA has a better chance due to it's more "open" approach to this technology. At this point I believe that Mobileye is a one size fits all, take it or leave it kind of company and lots of potential customers do not like that approach. Many companies would rather have a supplier that enables out of the box thinking, like AMBA provides.

Any way you slice it, things are in a very interesting phase in this area of tech!
