So... the biotech behind the controversial AZN vaccine is attempting entry to US markets. Not getting my money.

AZN will drop if the U.S. won’t give it emergency approvals. However, this will be a buying opportunity. AZN doesn’t depend on the vaccine, but the market respond to it. I will buy back when AZN hits low 47s.

Why is this up on pre-market, despite all the news about their vaccine causing blood cloths?

There is no reason with this stock. I sold all 250 shares after a year. What a bust!

I’m already recouping in other stocks.

    This thing will still
Be sitting in 40’s this time next year

The whole rule of new investor buying was because of the vaccine without the vaccine there is not much at a faster rate that why I stay out from buying and bought Pfizer instead

I think Scotland Yard should be enlisted to trace who is behind the AZN vaccine smear campaign. For example, how did Channel 4 News hear about 30 cases of blood clots out of 18.2 million vaccinated? Are they keeping tally? No, but somebody is, and feeding media with everything negative about AZN (only).

Astrazeneca is 67 percent plus side effect why would I s house astrazeca when there is pfizer

    Sir Royston
UK government figures just published. Among those who are vaccinated, symptomatic disease reduced by 60%, hospitalisations reduced by 80%. That explains why UK death and infection data is showing massive declines. Next phase of reopening is confirmed for next Monday. Thank you, AZN. Over 31 million vaccinated and thousands of lives saved.
  • S
    Sir Royston
covid deaths in UK yesterday: 20. In Italy: 421. In France: 398. And so it goes for other EU nations. looks like AZN vaccine is saving thousands of lives every day.

So we've had 18 million vacinations using astra, at least 62 percent of those were over 65 in line with the uks vacination policy, which means we've had 30 cases of this incredibly rare blood clot in around 7 million vacinations - thats well above the average!

At this stage its looking likely that theres complications with the contraceptive pill, which accounts for the larger numbers of women being affected.
    /

The only reason it wasn't higher is that we weren't using it on people of child bearing age.
    /

Remember, the UK was so desperate for this they actually signed a legal waiver saying that the company isnt responsible for any side effects.... And were paying over the odds for it too
    /

Clear sign that they know its responsible is that its jow being refered to as the Astra-Zenica vacine, not the Oxford-Astra-Zenica in the press...

Looks like J&J is being halted due to ‘adverse’ reactions.

I suspect some player is behind the continual reports that the AZN COVID vaccine causes bad side effects ( at an incidence of perhaps 2 in a million) only to find that after every health authority investigates it they conclude that the vaccine is "safe and effective".
We hear nothing about 1 or 2 in a million incidences with the other vaccines, which almost certainly exist at that probability level. So who is behind it? Somebody who is long Moderna or J&J and/or short Alexion, maybe?
Money is always the reason, not higher motives.

Covid vaccine is NOT the future for AZN. Like most pharma they are not making $$ on the vaccine. Glad we are all jamming our arms with vaccines that were rolled out faster than anything in human history and trusting that our government will protect us. Scariest words ever “the government is here to help”. God help us all. AZN is a long term play not a Covid play or day trade. Look at the divided and basic fundamentals.

You need the next Moderna, same tech but focused on COVI 2 broad vaccines, Booster shots, and Variant specific only vaccines developed in lower first batch run quantity.

    Mr.
Denmark has completed their analysis. The incidence of blood clots 30/5 Million reported in Europe after vaccination is well within the normal population rate (before Covid).

This confirms the EMA statement (March 18) that benefits of the Astrazeneca vaccine outweigh the risks. We'll see if European countries start to change their policies.

So the rare blood clotting were confirmed by European Medicines Agency to be side effects of the AZN vaccine.
The resident thags on this board have been in denial all along. But the truth prevails, eventually.

So it’s banned in over 60s in some countries and under 60s in other countries. lol. That doesn’t leave a very large age group.
