When people wake up to the need for food they will come to the stark realization that you cannot sue your way out of food insecurity.

More of the same hegemony of the US Government upon business affairs of German companies -- what we're seeing here is a very clear case of state-sponsored "activism from the bench" or "justice" American style. See also Deutsche Bank and the disproportionate and targeted discrimination against German ownership of US companies and/or garnering of US footprint by German companies on American soil.
Hold on to Bayer. At some point I would think they will either simply spin off the Monsanto entity and have it go BK. The US taxpayer can then flip the bill for the tax write-off that will inevitably ensue. Or alternatively, Bayer will drag out the proceedings in court for as long as they can, which they should do, since the EPA has founds on several occasions that glyphosate is non-carcinogenic and is now being brought by the US Government to heel.

Dear BAYRY, Thank you for the dividend in May. I just wanted you to know that understand about the Ex-Dividend discount (price drop) but I also wanted to add an additional thanks for making up for it, plus some, afterward. I'm sorry about all that you are going through with Monsanto lawsuit, but we all know that it's no surprise. I'm just glad that your value is based on something that we all need (food) so I can count on you to keep my seat as we go to the moon together.

P.S. I love your all history chart. I cant wait for you to make up for that crazy drop in price when people realize that you feed the world. I am pretty sure this is what love feels like.

Ray Dalio is shorting this. Will the glyphosate settlements hurt Bayer significantly?

Does BG have a long-lingering grudge against the EU for when they first went against Microsoft 20 years ago? Funny, how he wield so much influence at the WHO and precisely this organization should be the one to haphazardly and unjustly condemn glyphosate as presumably carcinogenic? Odd, those connections, aren't they?

I know lots of farmers that died from cancer they all used GOM/ glyphosate seeds. One was a crop duster and a farmer all died of cancer....

As a great many people knew from the outset, it has now been proven that Monsanto-Bayer and BASF intentionally orchestrated this situation in order to coerce farmers into buying their poison-ready altered seeds. "the two companies created a joint venture to manufacture and sell dicamba-resistant GMO seeds and low-volatility herbicides, and that they conspired to create an “ecological disaster” to increase profits."

If they make a settlement this goes over $20 the next day
s
At least now they can focus of the settlement and end this nightmare and move on
