“Although one could quibble over whether the valuation at ~$1.6B EV for a business that had just $45M in revenue but is profitable and projected to grow at a 66% CAGR over the next five years is reasonable, there is no doubt about alignment of interests. As such, IPO investors should feel comfortable committing capital through deal close and beyond. One distinct aspect of the CBRE SPAC that is helpful to warrant holders is the lower strike price compared to traditional SPACs – the strike price is $11 per share compared to $11.50 for all other SPACs.”

Down another 2.5%. Meh!!! been there, done that. Cleaned a few rooms in the house today. Will post them later. I don't like adding SPACs in the $2-$3 range but I made exceptions and added GGPI, FPAC and CBAH.
Kept adding GGPI - rumored Polestar. FOMO was $3. (still trying to get more info on their numbers). No DA yet. talking about $25B valuation. $10B to $40B.
per WSJ - Volvo Cars and Geely were planning to take their ESwedish electric-vehicle maker company Polestar public by merging it with another SPAC and boosting its valuation to as much as $40B.
-- series A raised $550m at a $7B valuation in April. Their plan was to have a Series B fundraising to boost the to $20B by the end of June, before merging with a SPAC to go public.
Looks like series B did not happen.
July 12th reporting says - Volvo Car Group has bought additional shares in electric car maker Polestar, taking its holdings in the electric vehicle (EV) maker controlled by Volvo's parent company, the Chinese automaker Geely, to 49.5%.

Added FPAC/Bullish (confirmed) - Crypto exchange still in the works. Backed by Thiel. Just in case anyone is interested PLTR has been involved in a few SPAC PIPEs. PLTR signs a 5 year deal for services in exchange for investing in PIPE. PLTR seems to be a small hedge fund. If you see Thiel backing a SPAC it could be bcos of that side deal and not bcos Thiel is bullish on the SPAC target. PLTR might be decent investment long term.

CBAH/Altus Power (confirmed, rev of $45m 2020). I like the CBRE partnership.
Altus Power uses a data-driven approach to build onsite solar, combining building energy consumption data, the design and sizing of battery storage, and clean electric vehicle charging infrastructure, all of which can be integrated with other buildings to create a networked clean energy grid
-- seems to be a Hybrid of STEM and CHPT.

CBRE and Blackrock combined have assets of $275 billion... their combined commercial property portfolios are massive and worldwide... who do you think will get all of that Solar business...
this SPAC will be huge and a market cap with debt of only $1.4 billion...
