Stock splits don’t increase shareholder value, besides the stock price isn’t all that expensive to begin with!

Please stop mentionning splits. Specially if you holding this stock longterm. It does absolutly nothing!

CNR has dropped to the 50 day SMA. A correction to ~130 would place the stock at the center of a long-term trend channel running back to 2009.

Stock reaching a historic high in the middle of a pandemic when economic activity is slowing down. Way overvalued by the company’s own historic standards.

What to make of CNR's decision to buy a fleet of electric trucks? Is CNR going to end up buying a stake in Lion Electric? That would be quite interesting, seeing as the world is going bat#$%$ crazy over BEVs.@@@Canadian National Railway (NYSE: CNI) has ordered 50 electric trucks from Canadian supplier Lion Electric Co. for intermodal operations in its largest urban markets, the companies announced Monday. The Canadian railway plans to deploy the trucks in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal, CN JJ Ruest said during a news conference in Montreal. They will perform urban deliveries, container shuttle service and port operations. The trucks will help "reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but also noise pollution," Ruest said. "Trucks, let's face it, are a little noisy." It also marks the single largest order for Quebec-based Lion Electric. CN has been testing eight of Lion Electric's trucks since launching a pilot project in 2019. Lion Electric launched the Lion8 Class-8 electric truck in 2019. The battery-powered Lion8 was designed for urban deliveries, with a range of up to 250 miles on a single charge. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/canadian-national-railway-orders-50-205733839.html

Might be a good time to sell covered calls after this strong summer runup. Sept is typically not a great month for markets, US election coming up, CV19 mess not really going away. Thinking 145 strike Oct or Jan expiry. Jan would span two ex-dividend drops.
