Friends, good buying opportunity at these levels .. if you already have a position in CWT, would recommend adding anything below 52.. 25 year investor in CWT, I have seen these types of dips before, they represent solid growth moving forward. Young investors, time to add to your Roth Ira‘s!!

I got in this heavy at $60, Solid dividend + utility sector. I thought it was a good holding instead stay in cash in a uncertainty market. I was so wrong, dead wrong.

Can a long please explain why the PE (36) is not troubling them, espøecially with the dividend yield being less than 2? Not trying to be provocative, just trying to understand.

At $59 and change, this is the first buying opp’ty in CWT in months, a 10% discount from its high of a month ago..1st- time Roth IRA investors would be wise to open a position right here..

As an investor in CWT now for 25 years, this stock has provided above-average returns. I will reiterate what I’ve shared for years in this space: Young people would be wise to include the stock in their Roth Ira‘s. Buy on the deaths,, and let the dividends reinvest. You will not be disappointed. Don’t focus too much on the yield. Instead focus on growth.

Earlier this year, CWT increased its dividend 7.58% to 85 cents a share. Typically, CWT increases its payout anywhere from 2% to 5% annually. Given today's environment, the stock now pays out about 2% per share. It wasn't that long ago that the dividend was around 1 percent. CWT is one of my long-term positions, and has not disappointed. For young people, opening a position in CWT in your ROTH IRA will provide very handsome returns over the long term. Always re-invest the dividends and increase your position on the dips. At today's prices of $42 to $44 a share, ROTH IRA holders would be wise to load up here.

For those looking to add, now would be a good time. At today’s price, you’re getting CWT at a 17% discount off its high. Anything under 59 is a definite buy, especially if you have more than a five-year outlook. Great opportunity to add to your Roth IRA.. in addition, CWT will be announcing a dividend increase before the end of January.

San Jose Water Company in San Jose has just announced a request for a 21% increase in rates. If approved, this should drive CWT higher.

Thank you, CWT and it’s BOD for another solid year. Holding 1434 shares as a 25-year investor. To my young friends, add CWT to your Roth IRA now, reinvest the dividends, snd one day you will thank your younger self.

My water investment group (AWK, CWT, SJW & YORW) has been flowing well the last couple of months, the group jumped today except for YORW which bumped lower because of the public offering (975,600 shares) announcement. I have a few shares of Otter Tail Electric Utility Co, it has a division of manufacturing and fabrication, one of which is their plastics segment that produces polyvinyl chloride pipes for municipal water companies.

It is interesting to see the number of water company acquisitions spiking over the last year or so, there are over 148,000 public water systems in the United States and 1200 in California. Many of these small companies are finding it easier to sell than replace or upgrade (EPA standards) their aging infrastructure. This is from McKinsey & Co 11/2021 “The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) projects water-pipe replacement rates will peak in 2035 at 16,000 to 20,000 miles of pipes replaced per year—four times the current annual replacement rate of 4,000 to 5,000 miles.”

It's not a portfolio without a few utility companies mixed in, good luck & great investing! “A man of wisdom delights in water.” – Confucius

Don't know what's going on with CWT but if the first week of November is any indication it's going to be a nice Christmas this year.

$57.48 at the close, up 3% - a 52-wk high - and nary a mention on FBN or CNBC. And that’s just fine with me.

For a utility this stock yield is poor.
