My family fund also holds Aurora labs 3D (A3D.AX) that develop a four 1.5 kw Laser metal printer

By the way SLM Solutions has sold two beast machines to a Californian space firm. It could be relativity or space x as my in-depth research indicates. End of February there is a keynote with special guest at a space conference

    Hi guys,
I think DDD night takeover SLM Solutions because DDD has raised the funds for it and they said at the Needham conference that power bed Laser Metal printing is preferred. Here they lack market share and technology in comparison to SLM solutions with their 12 laser beast.

“As we enter 2022, I believe we’ll continue to see AM play a critical role in transforming manufacturing workflows and supply chains. Significant delays in logistics are hampering organisations’ ability to deliver products and services in a timely fashion; being able to manufacture all critical components at the point of assembly, or point of care can streamline these activities,” https://www.metal-am.com/3d-systems-predicts-am-will-transform-manufacturing-workflows-and-supply-chains-in-2022/

W left the scene (lol), but I'm a still a long term holder from 26....been averaging down cost since then. I believe this company is on to something. Maybe.

Sold at 55 and think this is a good time to get back in. Same strategy worked with NNDM.

Holy smokes, a guy leaves for a couple months and look at the riff raff that has infiltrated the place. I see Professor Jan is still here. Still lost and confused but give him an A for effort

Leap calls even double the price are pricey. It seems the long term view is quite positive.

Next earnings report (early Mar) should show approx. $800 MM in cash on the balance sheet. This assumes that the trend of positive cash flow from operations continues. Should be sufficient to fund development of the various bioprinting products from Volumetric.

Risk? Sure, competition is fierce. Reward? Plenty, provided the two latest acquisitions pay off. They wouldn't have structured the Volumetric deal with such a large carrot if management did not have some sort of equivalent milestone payment deal in place with United Therapeutics.

Hitting 6 month lows, but it's not all bad.

I don't think there will be anything exciting in the near future, so we'll just have to wait for earnings.

There's a possibility they use the recent extra cash for another acquisition but it won't be anytime soon if they do. They might only use it for various expenses and nothing more.

11 Insiders have sold recently, not a bullish sign, oy 2 have bought stock all year. What does that tell you?

PE ratio will be very lower next quarter with the interest income from $460M cash in the bank’s high interest account.

DDD has a fairly low P/E ratio, positive earnings, and has been beating estimates. The 3D printing future looks good as well. What are the bear arguments?

“[Materials] opens up new applications, new customers, people that don't even think about 3D printing right now, that's exciting to me. […] That gets the hardware people excited. When you have a new material, they want their equipment to perform as best as it can. So, it kind of is like the leading charge.” https://www.tctmagazine.com/additive-manufacturing-3d-printing-industry-insights/latest-additive-manufacturing-3d-printing-industry-insights/interview-3d-systems-details-new-3d-printers-partnerships-more/

Didn’t Cathy Wood load up on DDS systems in the middle of 2020 at seven dollars? I bet 🛑🛑she sold. In February this year near 55.00. Then re-boxed in the new year Monday and Tuesday at 20 and change. For an average of 21.50 with her purchases Monday and Tuesday beginning of the year
