The backlog of orders for the world best selling jetliner, theA320 series, is so huge Airbus is converting its former A380 factory to a modern, digitally-enabled A320/A321 final assembly line expanding production to meet demand.

Airbus has been receiving large and wide scale orders for the A320XLRS midsize jet, including from many formerly exclusive Boeing customers. Boeing has no comparable jet liner. with the capacity and range.

This is the only stock that I follow and is consistently outperforming the market since the Corona crisis. I wish I hadn't sold it and kept Boeing which is doing worse now :(

The Wall St Journal who refers anything from the EU over American shared an article that states Airbus is soaring past Boeing. Where are the spikes in the stock price?

So there is dispute between engine makers and plane makers. Ultimately, the CUSTOMER is always RIGHT: Airline industry.

There is a huge demand for narrow body, but CFM, and P&W are reluctant to ramp up production. This is to continue service of existing engines.

Why isn't Rolls Royce looking into meeting the customer demands for narrow body engines? Wide body won't return until 2023. Rolls Royce is currently makes Trent engines to service only wide body jets. As a result of (yet again poor management) RR has factories shutting down in UK as a result.

There is some type of cabal within the engine makers RR, GE, Safran, MTU, and P&W. They won't poach into other's market space. RR would rather go on a goose chase hunt on electrification and spend $$ on R&D, rather than pursue a reliable narrow body engine market for Airbus and ultimately the Airline customers.

Ultimately, I am very disappointed in rolls royce.

China Eastern took delivery of the first of many Chinese built A350's and a Russian airline just ordered 6 A220's. These are markets that are currently closed or very limited for Boeing.
