Icelandair and Airbus finalize order for up to 25 Airbus A321XLR aircraft
Four A321LR secured on long-term lease from lessor SMBC Aviation Capital Limited As previously announced, Icelandair and Airbus signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the purchase of Airbus A321XLR aircraft on 7 April 2023. The final purchase agreement has now been finalized. Icelandair has made 13 A321XLR firm orders and has purchase rights for up to 12 additional aircraft. Deliveries will start in 2029.
