The Energy segment is involved in the distribution and warehousing of oil products. The Communication segment engages in the publishing and distribution of pay and free television; production, sale, and distribution of cinema films and TV series; design and publishing of downloadable video games for mobiles and consoles; and provision of ticketing and venue services, and communication consultancy and advertising agency services, as well as sale of magazines. The Industry segment produces and sells electric batteries for electric vehicles, electricity storage and solutions, and films, as well as telecommunications activities. The company was formerly known as Financière de l'Odet SA and changed its name to Compagnie de l'Odet in May 2021. The company was incorporated in 1929 and is headquartered in Ergué-Gabéric, France.
