Two days after positive announcement, down big. Market just does not like this company. Why hold? I believe it is going to test support around 2.90-3.00.

The reason it’s down is disappointing earnings. There wasn’t enough to satisfy the large investors. The hedge fund is buying shares for future earnings. They believe shares are undervalued. Are insiders at company buying? No. Are any other large funds buying open market? No. That brings me to my next point. The money will go elsewhere until the company turns net profit. It’s all about earnings with big money. I went back over 1 1/2 years and where are insiders showing any faith in the company by buying shares open market. They need a cut in benefits, options, bonuses or perks. I’d be asking for a new CEO.

GASS is approaching a 100MM market cap with 80MM in cash (including the restricted cash and prior to any cash payment for the recently acquired vessels) and an approximate net asset value of 500MM, after adjusting assets to current market value.

Is this the year for investors to wake up and buy StealthGas, selling at a 2021 P/E of less than 3.0 and at a 60% discount to NAV?
    Yes I think so!

The nuclear winter for this stock is over. Good comparisons coming now for next several quarters and beyond if rates go up from here. I'm betting we will see $6-7 by Feb-March. Stock will build momentum coming into what will be a very strong 4th quarter comparison.

Just checking in and seeing no conversations here or information . Owned this since just after IPO and traded in and out many times fairly well usually with long term gains . Based on improving conditions for LPG shipping rates , low debt , improving credit situation in Greece ( GASS is incorperated in the Marshal Islands and uses USD funds ) and current management buybacks of shares I can see this going up 20% in the next year 3 year target peak $7 . If they determine not to continue to seek growth maybe a dividend will return as management ages . I remember when they paid 80 cents and climbed to $20 years back until they expanded the fleet during what they had hoped was a cyclical lull . They have always kept debt levels well below the sector average since and almost doubled the fleet keeping newer quality ships in service always . In another sector division TNP does the same but carries more debt while paying a rather large dividend as able . They are more oil and even have LNG incorperated in the Bahamas if I remember correct been dabbling there incase this climbs enough to be considered overvalued as it is very undervalued now . Gass is too but already a equal weight position for me with a long term designation .

Great start to the year for GASS. Would like to see a little more volume, but other than that!

Stealthgas is starting to look ripe for a pop right now because it is now one of the cheapest stocks in the entire market. I ran a 5-factor screen and it's the best, based on Price to Sales, Price to Book, and Price to Cash, etc. It's starting to look like an early Warren Buffett pick- the cheap companies he got his highest growth rates on. Odds are in its favor that its price will revert up to the mean of its industry. I bought some shares. We'll see. I'll be watching it closely this week.

Charts show consistent selloff. Still wondering if it finds support at 2.90.

this company is way too cheap. trading at .27 of book value. harry vafias said he would consider a takeover if the price is right. i guess they will announce a share buyback which they are considering and said in one of the last conference calls. i think after or around q1 18.

This is so close to breaking out . Wondering if the back and forth has been the company acquiring their own stock . Positive cash flow should be starting to increase this quarter forward . I remember when this traded from $11 to $20 in a strong small port shipping market for charters . Institutional ownership is up but has allot more room . This could triple in a period of a couple years . Wish they paid a dividend but at this value it will be buying shares .

Being a long term share holder of this company is brutal. Just look at the 5 year chart.
