Google Stadia review: Playable, not perfect

We'll say it, Google Stadia works better than we expected. The game-streaming service is capable of transmitting relatively smooth gameplay to a Chromecast Ultra, browser, or Pixel phone, and the experience is (relatively) lag-free. But it comes with a host of caveats. Controllers only work wirelessly with the TV, with a computer or phone, you'll need a cable; Graphics are certainly console competitive, but this won't replace a high-end PC; and it worked on our network, but slower connections may see worse graphics and far more lag. Still, call us impressed, this may be the best attempt at game-streaming we've seen yet.

Pixel 4 review: Android refined, but not perfected

The Pixel 4 is an exciting device, serving as a showcase for what Google thinks Android can be. It packs excellent cameras (including a new zoom lens), and improved voice Assistant, motion sensing radar, and an upgraded screen. But look past those features and bugs, half-finished software, and disappointing battery life paint a more complicated picture.

    Pixel 4 hands-on: Google goes dual-camera

Google is back with the Pixel 4 smartphone. The Pixel line has been a leader in photo quality, but recently the single-lens Pixels have lagged behind as competitors have added multiple lenses and sensors. The Pixel 4 steps up the game with an added telephoto lens, and plenty of refined photography smarts, from improved HDR to an astrophography mode. Google also added in a new radar sensor for hands-free control, but is it enough to stand out from the competition?
