Amazing, a EUR 35b market cap and no conversation and little interest from financial analysts. The stock has dropped about 30pct the past 12 months and have publicly stated they working hard on renewing themselves. Apart from that interview with the CEO in January no one has done anything following up on this stock before earnings release 19th Feb... A company that typically pays 4pct in dividend deserves a lot more attention, needless to mention all the brands it sits on. Maybe one should actually blame management for not make any effort to bring the company's value to the attention of various funds and other investors. For the past 7 sessions this stock has ended in red while everything else but Danone has effectively ended in green. I have no clue as to why. I've tried to check if there's a short interest in the stock as the calls strike 54 with Feb 19th expiry seems very cheap! just wondering if someone punting on bringing the stock down by issues cheap calls! Likewise with earnings out before opening 19th Feb, Danone has plenty of room for surprises if they have indeed managed to cut costs as planned - who knows maybe new sales tactics in sight during the lock down time in most of the world... Would be great if more analysts would follow this EUR 35b conglomerate.

Let's start the chat. What are your opinions? Mine is that we have a solid base, great value, capable management, wonderful brands in portfolio. Dividend is slightly outrageous taking into account the necessity of reshaping our portfolio/costs. Investing ik Danone (at the moment) is massive value for money. #long

I feel like Danone gets no attention at all. Half the P/E of Nestlé and less than Unilever. I will look to add if it continues to go down in price.

I should add that I expect a European exchange purchase to be unavailable, at least not without difficulty. (Canada)

Just looking into this company. I'm surprised I never thought of Danone before this point.
I see two options for purchase on the OTC.
DANOY, and GPDNF. I'm surprised not to see an ADR on the NYSE for this. Do you have recommendations on which OTC form is advisable to purchase? The differences? (I'm a noob to the OTC market and somewhat hesitant.
Thank you in advance. Off to bed. I'll check back tomorrow.

Someone willing to give perspective for the future? Guess this is an overlooked one in the food chain, buying this morning. Great upside IMO. They are innovating regarding their last podcast released.

I wish this sassy little french wench would do more than just lie there and grunt from time to time. I'm getting bored doing all the work.
