Goldman Sachs (GS) has updated their projections for mortgage rates. The bank now expects mortgage rates to rise to 7.1% by the end of 2023. That's up from its previous estimate of 6.6%. Chris Kojima, a Goldman Sachs executive in the asset and wealth management unit, will leave the investment bank at year-end after almost 28 years, an internal memo seen by Reuters on Tuesday showed. Kojima co-heads Goldman's client solutions group, which handles sales and client service for pensions and institutions. Kojima is among the latest high-profile executives to leave Goldman's asset and wealth management division, which manages $2.7 trillion in assets.
