HMS Bergbau AG distributes coal and other energy raw materials to power plants, cement manufacturers, and industrial consumers worldwide. The company offers steam coal, coking coal and coke, and anthracite and PCI coal; wood pellets, wood chips, and other biomass; iron ore, including pellets, iron lumps, fines, and other ores; cement and cementitious products, such as clinker, fly ash, etc.; and sea, rail, and road logistics services. It also provides consulting services in the areas of power plant design and construction, harbor planning and configuration, coal mine operation, and on-site optimization of raw materials logistics. In addition, the company charters sea going vessels and inland barges; and organizes logistics by barge, train, or truck; and provides logistics solutions comprising harbor operations, storage management, and technical oversight. It supplies its products to power plant companies, as well as steel and cement manufacturers; and industrial companies, such as glassworks, paper mills, and waste processing plants. HMS Bergbau AG was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Berlin, Germany.
