I keep wondering why HSEB is trading above $27 as it is callable since December 2015. HSBC can call it anytime at $25 + accrued dividend and usually such securities trade around $25.50. Why do they keep a 8% security instead of calling it and issuing a new one at 6% or 7%?

Judging by the relative strnth indx alone, which is at 59.47 on the daily chart - overall It looks like we will see upside in the short-term. Perhaps a pullback next day or so may occur I suppose but are yall also seeing a further leg higher? Ahh, now this is exactly Brian from lionS#tackalerts informed me - I should have listened to him.

lots of quick posts (sellers of 'tips') - little discussion. I got a few shares at about the price it is now. Dealt with the dip - had hoped to get it on its 'bottom out' from banking crash and scandal tht hit them. But it kept falling a bit. Now back where I bought it. Feel like holding it a bit and seeing if the dividend offers something over a long hold... (4.98%?). Thoughts? Why are so many saying DUMP? Brexit? That seems to have calmed down...
