The FTSE 100-listed company said it was upping its revenue guidance by about £100m and its profits by £15m for the full year.
The events industry has been recovering from a pandemic-driven slump that forced cancellation of hundreds of shows and conferences amid lockdowns and travel restrictions. "The operating momentum across both our businesses, combined with the strength of our positions in North America, put us in a strong position for continued growth and acceleration in 2023, with incremental growth in China as the market reopens," the company said. Informa also raised its annual revenue guidance to the range of 2.30 billion pounds to 2.35 billion pounds, from 2.15 billion pounds to 2.25 million pounds.
