Italy's INWIT trims 2023 revenue guidance, ups EBITDA margin after Q3 results

The group said revenue growth would be in the lower part of a previously communicated range of 960 million to 980 million euros ($2.08 billion) while it expects its EBITDA margin to be higher than the previously forecast 91%, which was in line with the previous year. INWIT's net profit rose 13.5% in the third quarter to 85.1 million euros, while revenue rose 12.6% from a year earlier to 242 million euros.

Italy's INWIT profits rise helped by inflation-linked contracts

Italy's biggest telecoms tower firm INWIT reported an 18.9% year-on-year increase in first-quarter core profit on Tuesday, as revenues were boosted by inflation-linked fees, along with the development of indoor coverage and news services. INWIT said its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) after lease costs stood at 165.6 million euros ($182.3 million) on a like-for-like basis in the first three months of the year. Spun off from Telecom Italia, INWIT merged in 2020 with Vodafone's mast business in Italy to create a national champion in charge of over 23,000 towers.
