Digital transformation consultancy SystemsUp has been selected by Farrer & Co LLP to deliver wide-ranging technology transformation across the firm using Microsoft Azure. For the next two years SystemsUp will work in partnership with Farrer & Co to enhance productivity and user experience across the organisation by moving it to a secure Azure hybrid cloud platform and a collaborative next generation desktop environment based on Office 365 and Windows 10.
Cristie Data will provide Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) and managed cloud backup to Stone King, enabling the specialist law firm to provide a continuous and high level of service to its valued clients. Tim Roche, Head of IT at Stone King, said: "We look forward to working with Cristie Data to replace our existing in house platform and make our services in this area more robust. It will improve the way we provide backup and Disaster Recovery services and enable us to recover data in minutes.
MMR IT, a business that provides fully managed IT services to the financial and legal services sectors in London, has turned to a private cloud solution from iomart to satisfy the security requirements of its customers and help them cut costs. Several of them were keen to move to the cloud to save on infrastructure costs but they did not want to have to compromise on security.
