It’s time for and LYG break out immediately over 3 then 5’s and double digits next year everything is going to line up and return LYG to its former glory and all time highs it took BAC a decade to do this the learning curve for LYG will be a 3rd of that and they are well on their way. Take a look at the charts and history. This will be a massive story, see you back at the top. I’m loading up! Not investment advice.

What a fantastic idea. Lloyd’s should link up with one of the tec giants to really move the business on. Show some proactive thinking Mr CEO.

Lloyds is cheap right now. Buy buy buy, claim the dividend in the meantime and in a few months or a year the stock will give you some capital appreciation.

Solid company fundamentals, its definitely a buy.

It would be good to see these return to their usual 50-60 range that they floated around pre pandemic but I am not sure what impact inflation might have on them for the near distant future

Sell it if you like, I hold lloyds since last year, and I will happly wait for its price to reach its extreme high, in the meantime I am getting dividens which can only go up.

Reading the past comments , looks to me that there's a trust deficit in the management of this bank and a great disappointment to many!! Buck up guys...make the bank a worthwhile investment.
  • J
I really hope you bought yesterday

I really hadn’t paid attention to the dividend and suddenly it was in my account, much larger than I expected.
I had been thinking of selling a little but not now, I think it has turned in to a permanent hold.
I still expect the dollar to weaken, can’t print the money our current fools want without consequence.
So the exchange rate should stay solid.

Do I want shares in a company forever in court defending fraud or bad practice, a company which is trying to become a landlord (more visions of bad press ahead) a company closing branches and forcing customers to use machines in the remains ones so it can close them claiming reduced footfall, I now have to claim I'm paying in coins to get to the counter!
I've less than 20,000 shares ( on the drip ) and I now feel no point in remaining a customer or indeed a shareholder in a company bent on policies which seem anti social on so many levels.

Can’t believe they’re paying such low dividends. Will we ever see pre pandemic dividend levels?

finally talk of rate rate rise this year.. hopefully this lazy stock rises

I asked a similar question last week... I'll ask again. Why is this ticker so dead in the water? If there's concrete info vs speculation that would be excellent. But my god down down down it's depressing to watch.
  • J
The dividends there’s more realistic and I sure appreciate the check I’m fine

Further to my previous post ,which seems to have disappeared ,would not a tie in with a tec company be favourable to the corner shop mentality of buying property.
