Reality is that 15 billion in debt will become impossible to service and refinancing is going to be difficult. Live Nation could file bankruptcy into a recession and with inflation taking all extra it almost looks all but certain with time.

Although it reduced the percentage of debt used in its capital structure this year, LYV has a Debt to Total Capital ratio of 92.96% and is among the most highly leveraged companies in the Entertainment industry. The company may have difficulty making interest payments. Its Interest Coverage ratio of 0.74x is among the highest in the industry but shows that earnings from day-to-day activities are too small to service the debt.

Live Nation is going to 10 guaranteed. Recession, 6 dollar gas, 6% interest and credit cards at all time maxed out highs. Discretionary spending is out of the question for 99% of people

Was looking for recessionary stocks to short and this company has one of the worst set of financials I have ran into. Went to 4 concerts in March in 2 different states and they were packed. However, resale market on Ticketmaster seems soft when purchasing. My 24 year old daughter seems to think her generation would eat Top Ramen to continue to go to concerts. Easy to say and hard to do when the inflation tax man has his hand in your wallet.

Even with 25 dollar tickets, concerts are not coming back to prepandemic levels. Recession no one is buying concerts. Inflation has everyone struggling to buy food and gas. Now they are talking about a winter wave and white house needs 22 billion to fight

25 dollar tickets is stock engineering the illusion of a recovery and return to normal. CEO dumping all is shares is the reality

This will suffer with ‘Blame Game’ Joe in the office. Concerts fall way down the list of importance when $6.00 gas comes. I can say the same for ABNB

Melvin Capital closing fund in June. Just waiting for him to decide when to offload 9,800,000 shares of this overpriced dog. Fuel costs more, food costs more, rent is too dam high, I think the discretionary spending on concerts will be worse than 2008.

The real risk here is Covid! Mid terms are coming, that might mean the political football of Covid might be coming too. Dems need mail in balloting to have any chance so don’t put it past them to revive this again. That alone keeps me away from travel/entertainment stocks. GLTA

Elections have consequences. People need money to pay for inflated goods, entertainment must wait. So this will go down

4 billion in Goodwill? Company is worth no more than 10 and could not survive a recession.
