Over the past six months, I've noticed the McDonald's drive-through lines are constantly packed, wrapping around the building, whereas the Burger King, Wendy's, and others are almost always empty. McDonald's is definitely doing something right and it'll be reflected in their ER this Wednesday. Buy the dip!

    my crystal ball

246 run up pre earnings, the double top was formed at just under 250, 249.9 maybe
    230 ?
    240 becomes resistance
230 sticks out like a sore thumb

did this go down because it's entering the vegan market or something? I'm just trying to figure out the numbers, as all the vegan stocks went down today by a lot - got hammered.

    5 year monthly beta = .6

so, the dividend is trumped by the downside?

was around $200 per share, but CV19 related

    still $51B debt

Issues - Labor costs, food costs, transportation costs, store opening delays (material shortages), CO2 cost, competition from re-opening of neighborhood restaurants - and inelastic pricing. Smart money has been selling into every Dow rally. Major correction coming soon when earnings and projections are announced this month.

DESPITE Major financial Failures from the US Companies (Intel, Honeywell, IBM, Snap Scam), the US Government continues to PUMP the US Stock Prices Artificially.
NASDAQ Composite Ponzi Scheme was 4800 in 2016 with much better fundamentals and better economy.
How that Fraudulent NASDAQ Composite index got PUMPED from 4800 to 15000 in no time, Despite Collapsing Economy, Tanking Corporate Revenues, Record high corporate Loss, Record Number of Bankruptcies, Astronomical Record High Debt levels, increasing international competition for each $1 revenue, Skyrocketing Inflation, Spreading Pandemic, Political Polarization, Limited Real Resources and most importantly Insane Overvaluation in the US Stock Market?!!!
Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) was 17,000 in 2016, with better economic fundamentals and higher corporate earnings. However, thanks to the Collapsing Economy, Coronavirus Pandemic, Tanking Corporate revenues and earnings, Skyrocketing unemployment, Trade Wars, Record INFLATION levels, and Heavy Stock Dilutions, Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) PONZI SCHEME has almost Doubled!
S&P 500 (^GSPC) was at 1600.00 with better fundamentals and higher corporate earnings in 2016. Now it is sitting at ABSURD 4300.00 with TERRIBLE Fundamentals, Collapsing Economy, HEAVIER Corporate and National Debt and way lower corporate revenues and earnings!
The World Economy is Collapsing, people are starving, but the US Government is too busy in printing money and PUMPING the Stock prices Artificially to make insiders trillionaire without working!
ENJOY ABSURD COMPANY VALUATIONS, While the Economy is COLLAPSING and Corporate Revenues are TANKING!
Enjoy Free Capital Gains in the US Stock Market while the Corporate Revenues are tanking and the Economy is Collapsing! US Stock Market is a “GET QUICK RICH” Scheme!
The World Countries are refusing to accept the US Dollar as international reserve currency due to the HEAVY Dollar PRINTING!
US Stocks are INSANELY OVERVALUED and OVERBOUGHT! US Stock Market is a MEGA PYRAMID SCHEME right now!!!

The debt crisis in the US is similar to global warming — it is an incremental but enormous phenomenon that could trigger disaster at any given point.

I"ve done some research and MCD has the best system for food delivery companies. The food is well packed and sealed. Even the drinks are integrated into packaging. Well ahead ChicFila and chilis in this regard

CNBC a moment ago. MCD is going to test Beyond meat patties in, ready for it? Eight stores! Beyond is up 1.33%. Can’t make this stuff up.

MCD had fairly modest growth prior to the covid assault. It seems they did very good selling food through the drive up window. The numbers are quite impressive. It might be that they got a lot of business that would have gone elsewhere. The numbers prove it, see last quarters financial report.

However, reality is their growth was moderate before, and the PE reflects that. Also their debt went berserk.

In the meantime, the price may get pushed up, maybe a lot.

They have done remarkably well though their entire history. They survived and flourished through Covid.

Will Mcds ever split? I have worked for them since 1983 and had 50.00 come out every check to purchase stock I've made quite a bit over 30 years.

McD classic cup with handle on one month chart . Going much higher . Soon .

    maybe I"m missing something

how did MCD get their income up so much last quarter?

thanks for your response in advance
  • D
    1% growth, new stores

    $51B debt

    PE 26

    overpriced for the 2% dividend

but what happens when the price drops 20%
  • A
What was that for a kind of spike down? Suddenly got a fill for a buy limit at .45 and the spike was all the way down to about 238.1. That is really rare, right?
