Now is perfect time to jump in before price rockets soon. Not many shares outstanding and tiny float. Price could fly really big.

One of the most current events that makes MESA a "BUY" is there contract flying cargo for DHL!! It a testament to the creative management team and will serve shareholders extremely well.

Agreed, this stock is a keeper. Read the earnings and MESA is flying enough to warrant buying more shares on any pull back. My Take....

A day before mass furloughs, U.S. airline workers are gearing up for a full-court press to persuade Congress to pass a fresh $25 billion bailout that would protect jobs for another 6 months.
With an airline payroll support package expiring at midnight tonight, the clock is ticking.
It's pedal to the metal until 11:59:59 on Sept. 30, and then some.

One of the only passenger airlines that hasn’t gone negative and they start flying their two 737s for DHL in October. All the cargo airlines are up this year, Mesa is looking very good. There is still bad sentiment which has the price down but their flights are increasing which is all they need. American and United pays them the same regardless of the passenger count and Mesa doesn’t pay for their fuel. Flights Are packed too. Every flight I’ve flown on has been to capacity this last week which should increase the total number of flights they are given by their partners.

The Treasury Department announced late Tuesday that American Airlines, United Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Frontier Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Hawaiian Airlines and SkyWest Airlines are taking federal loans that are capped at $7.5 billion apiece.
The Treasury Department did not say how much each carrier is borrowing.
Companies accepting federal loans are required to put a cap on executive compensation offer equity or other financial stakes to the government in exchange for the aid.
Most major airlines signed letters of intent in July to tap the $25 billion loan fund carved out in the Cares Act.
Other airlines including Southwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines opted not to because they found financing in private markets, leaving more federal bailout money for a smaller number of carriers to tap.

This winter will be particularly cold for airlines and airports. The smaller they are, the more they will feel it.
Airline Aid Is Ending. Regional Flights May Suffer the Most. Carriers will have freedom to lay off workers and cut some routes starting October 1st, likely hitting small airports and regional airlines hardest.
When Republicans tried and failed to pass a new whittled-down coronavirus stimulus package in the Senate this week, something was conspicuously absent: More money for the aviation industry. Airlines have unsuccessfully lobbied to get a 6-month extension of the $25 billion package they received back in March, and airports have also failed to get more relief funds.

Most investors do not realize that Mesa has no revenue risk or fuel cost risk. This stock is being unreasonably discounted because of the corona virus scare.

MESA up today. Favorable report on Seeking Alpha--not yet announced by the company--about American Airlines decision to not remove further aircraft from its MESA contract. Still no word on United contract; I have a request for information in to Investor Relations.
    See S.A. article at:
American Airlines elected not to remove two additional aircraft and instead restarted the performance measurement period. While there appears to be no renewal o

Thanks for your input. I'm guilty of not understanding this business well, and bought last year based purely on metrics which told me this stock was undervalued. My biggest concern was the lack of contract renewal with American.

Any ordinarily prudent individual investor would be leery of a company in which management refuses to communicate, particularly during extreme times like this.

The CEO's of good companies who are "on top of things" are coming forward and confidently saying: "This is where we are.......this is where we need to be......and this is how we're going to get there."

This airline had positive earnings and has upgraded management. With fuel costs projected to go down and a viable pilot pipeline, this carrier ought to provide a nice return. Deustche banks endoresment is positive too.
