Margins being compressed by the price of steel, freight and delivery costs, as well as increased labor costs. Pricing increase last quarter w more increases planned. Price increases not impacting demand at all. Good quarter w great guidance. This should trend up from here imho
Over hopeful now
another losing Cramer recommendation!!!! When will investors catch this trend?
Here we go up before announcement
Hopefully this can drop to $30 !
Why is MLHR up so much today, just before its earnings release? Because SCS, a direct competitor to MLHR, just reported an OUTSTANDING quarter and that stock is up 19+% for the day.
Now, I really like MLHR as an Earnings play. I liked them a whole lot BEFORE SCS released their earnings. But what about now?? I do NOT like the fact that MLHR is up more than 3% today, ahead of earnings, because I am not yet in the play. But digging deeper, if SCS is a direct competitor to MLHR, and they had such a great quarter, does that mean they took potential business away from MLHR? Or, does it just mean the entire sector is growing and healthy, gaining customers and growing revenue??
I tend to favor the latter point of view. The positive results for SCS ARE a bullish sign for MLHR. But, I do not want to pay a premium price in going long just before the earnings report. I want to pay $48, not $49+... Even though I see MLHR as a high quality company, very good management and very good financial execution.
So, right now I am undecided as to whether to make a big Long play today, ahead of earnings. In general though, I think the odds are very good of a very good earnings report that drives the stock price higher.
Any unbiased and thoughtful points of view would be welcome and appreciated! :-)
I work in Health Care in The Real Estate department. Can confirm construction for health facilities has gone up if anything. Competition for furniture vendors is intense. Overreaction IMO.
I just took delivery of a Herman Miller Eames Chair and Ottoman and it's one of the most comfortable chairs to sit and read or watch TV in. Extremely well made product, it was backordered, but came sooner than expected. I happen to own the stock as well and I have to think that as busy as their physical and online stores are that they will have some pretty strong numbers and momentum to report. It will be interesting to see, but I am absolutely thrilled with the product.
Shouldn't companies like this do really well when COVID-19 forces reconfiguration of offices to provide physical distancing for workers?
Baba says it has a lot of room to go - great beat
Time to realize the power of Retail, Direct-To-Consumers, Omni Channel Experience, and Digital. Just to name a few things that will 2x this valuation.
This company has a very strong earnings record, and the reaction post earnings has been positive the last 6 ER (to some degree, sometimes only 1% up to 16%). With that in mind, how are people feeling about an earnings play on this one? It's pretty close to both its 20 and 50 day MAs right now, and should have plenty of room to grow if it's a solid ER. I won't go crazy for my hopes for the price after earnings, but I'd love to see $50.
This price is at pre Covid price, no PE because negative EPS. Can someone please explain or justify paying this price for the stock?
Something like a Lockheed Martin has a higher dividend, a profitable company and growing. (I down own it just an example)
I’m trying to get my head around this price so I welcome the dialogue to help me understand another point of view.
This company is solid , don’t sale
Over sold and over reaction
Stay long, you will be rewarded .
$50 stock in a year. Added to my position today.
I was ready to jump into this one if the price had trended down, but it did not and I decided not to chase. Have no position here and the earnings report does not look that great...So, looks like I got lucky here in deciding not to chase.
Best of Luck to All
Why the drop today?
This company beat the earnings by 500% what are you talking about this is a $70 stock
I'm short and predict this will go down tomorrow after a brief morning jump. But then GL to the longs...
They are booming ! Concerns of Covid with Corporate but Hospitals, Dentists, Pharmaceuticals offices, etc. They have Online which is booming and they are Global compared to being just Domestic. Buy on the Dip ride the wave up!
