increased sales mean nothing if your profit margin is decreasing. don't confuse activity with progress.

I think Monsters done incredibly well weathering these supply chain disruptions and they’ll continue to improve on all facets of the business. COVID’s been hard on most business’s, we’ll see them recover and prosper in coming quarters but it won’t be overnight. I’ve seen this company do incredible things since 86.

LOL if this was really bad earnings the way the market is, the stock would be down over 10 points, this is just AH day traders, the big boys know the sales beat even with the pricing problems was a big win, wait till tomorrow, 97-103 we will see

Extremely disappointing to see fourth quarterly miss in row, 50% decline in EPS YoY, lowest margin since 2014, and current ratio drop. It wasn’t a total loss though and there balance sheet will support the bad earnings for now, but still disappointing. Nonetheless I still love this company and hope to keep adding at discount with faith of future return. Monster is still a beast and will probably be one for years to come!

today I'm filling up with good opportunities in Monster, good or bad we'll see in a few years/ otherwise a bit boring with today's decline which I, a happy amateur, think is excessive

So what am I missing. Looks pretty good taking out the foreign currency exchange issue. You all can read into this report better than me. Good luck to all longs.

No debt = very little impact by interest rates

Interest rates affect companies interest expense but Monster has little since they don’t have any debt. In addition, their customers still need to stay hydrated and won’t stop buying beverages just because their mortgage is a little higher. The biggest impact Jerome Powell will have on Monster is through Coca-Cola and the other companies Monster buys off of making this a great business during this harsh atmosphere.

I am encouraged by recent posts.

Over the last 20+ years, when the bashers show up in numbers (even if a single post with 6 comments is just one person lol), it precedes a run up in stock price.

    Welcome, friends : )
