    Remains - under the radar - just the way I love them ....buy in before eyes come to see it and buyers come in to buy it and miners come in to mine it....be early not late that is my investment theme...just like orn/prim/hzo/cpng/cvu/ap/gsl and others... Boolean

    OMF paid dividend of $3.95 after close on Feb 16, 2021. So the price per share dropped exactly $3.95 per share from $53.79 to $49.84 at the close. Most of the price drop today (Feb 17, 2021) reflects that dividend, which is payable to investors next Thursday, Feb 25, 2021.

    James, I just want to get my $13000 losses back and get out of this trap OMF ASAP . when do You think it will be a good time to sell my stocks after getting my dividends to recover my losses? a week or weeks from now?

    OMF will be testing new highs soon. Comment what you think it will hit. Previous high was $59, the current highest analyst target is $69. Either way, this is a strong buy for any portfolio.

    What an excellent buying opportunity! I was sad that I didn't have more $47 OMF shares in my portfolio for when this hits $60. But today solved that problem! What an excellent buy!

    One more comment about OMF special dividends that they pay in February and August IN ADDITION TO their regular quarterly dividend. If you selected to have dividends automatically reinvested with your brokerage firm, those special dividends WILL NOT be automatically reinvested, although the regular dividend WILL BE reinvested. I found that out when OMF first started the twice a year special dividend.

    So, if you want to reinvest those special dividends you will have to initiate a trade using the cash value of the special dividend once it is credited to your brokerage account on the dividend payment date.

    @James @Spmd

    Just an additional thought while on the topic. This is something I learned this week. For the dividend payable 2/25/21 of $3.95 this was $0.45 Quarterly Dividend and $3.50 Special Dividend. I want to elaborate how the special dividend affects options trading so that investors don't get the same surprise I did Wednesday morning.

    I purchased several $60 Puts expiring 2/19 on 2/11 due to the fact that I knew the stock price would have an automatic drop of $3.95 due to the dividend plus some because of the usual sell off on ex-dividend date.

    What I did not know was that the Special dividend automatically adjusts the price of all existing Options (calls and puts). An options strike price is automatically adjusted by the amount of the special dividend. So in my case, my 60$ puts became $56.50 puts. This would also affect calls the same way, a $60 call would automatically become a $56.50 call.

    I learned that as an astonishment when my breakeven prices all changed by $3.50 Wednesday morning.

    Thanks to the overselling of OMF these puts faired extremely well. But I maintain a very bullish long position even though I had a short term short interest.

    OMF fooled all of the share holders. according to the Charles Schwab. it only paid 45 cents not $3.95 this time. welcome to reality, James. I lost $13000 and keep loosing. what is the point of the buying dividend stock if you loose money instead?

    Home Run. $3.95 dividend, adjusted earnings $2.77 beats expectations by 35%. Also beats on revenues. I luv this company, they just keep beating.

    I though that the dividend was for 3.95, but in my account, I see two pending dividend payments, one for 3.95 per share and one for 3.5 per share. This is a great surprise as I thought the regular dividend was only .45. The total payout then for this quarter is 7.45 much higher than I thought. Anybody have any thoughts on this discrepancy or share it?

    Talk about some serious manipulation....

    Stock goes up about 4%, then slides to end the day about a half a percent. Then after hours someone buys in big and the price is back up.

    It's a very low float, so I can see how this is easily done.

    This appears to have a large dividend without being a dividend trap. Look at the above historical data tab. Very unusual.
