This seems cheap at £0.995 and I await Tuesday's results announcement with bated breath. Net debt was reported as $41m as of JUN 30 so we may be in a net cash position soon. EV:EBITDA seems to be below 1.0x, the new management team is in place, Tanzania is contributing and the debt restructuring has been done. Am I missing something or is this stock very cheap?

Lovely news Christopher... you are a great asset to team Petra... over the past few days we have built up an army ready to take over... not everyone is cut out for team Petra. Some people are still living at home in the cold dark basement, haven’t seen their friends in months as they try to destroy Petra.. very sad little lives, they need to get help.... I know you’re reading this Craig.. it is not too late to get some help and stop shorting the great Petra

petra was one of the first stocks I ever purchased last year. Completely new to the market with no idea. Holding a little over 20k shares for this long at a constant loss. missed the opportunity last year to recoup some of my principal. Starting to understand the market and graphs a little better now but still a lot to learn. Petra have some alleged human rights violations to answer for though after reading a report it all seems rather explainable (though I'm no expert and could be wrong) they're switching their security detail as of March I believe, issuing a contract to a new firm and their is the Debt-for-equity restructure late last year a positive? Is the struggling diamond market likely to pick up enough to see a turn around over the next coming years? obviously nobody can foretell the future but a little speculation doesn't hurt eh! intended for discussion with the outlook of learning from others insight......

According to Simply Wall Street app, Petra Diamonds is currently trading at 6.1% below their estimate of it's fair value and revenue is forecast to grow 11.98% per year. They have risk analysis on the company too but overall the company has great long-term potential!

Craig that is a bold move sharing ur story like that on the Petra board.
Similar to feeding yourself to the lions..
I do respect your attitude on the human rights violations and looking to the future for Petra.
    But diamonds are forever?
Being a petrarian, I know this better than most.
Vets like me and Toby been riding with Petra back in the dark days.
    So watch your step.
    And ride for Petra.

$699m (pre debt) - $337m (post debt) = $362m (~£260m) swapped for 91% valuing the 9% pre equity at £25m with 865m shares prior to the deal £25m/865m ~= 2.9p per #PDL so why it is trading at 1.3p?! 🤔🤨 👇 what am I getting wrong?!

Fun fact for you guys... The diamond on the Queens crown is a Petra diamond! It is the Cullinan diamond which is the biggest ever diamond found in history.

Back in 1905 Petra discovered the diamond in their Premier Mine, South Africa. The diamond was over 3000 carats and weighed over 620 grams!

This was one to swerve for a long time but now we have a new management team and a much healthier balance sheet after the debt restructuring. I'm buying at around the £0.89 level.

Latest reported net debt was $154m and debt was paid down $48m in the past 3 months. Do the math (as the Americans say). The company could be in a net cash position by Q4 2022 or early 2023. This is transformational after the over-leveraging problems of recent years.

There is also a part-owned Tanzanian mine that is now producing, $80m of diamond inventory, rising diamond prices, and occasional finds of large, sexy gems! This could be a 2x minimum if things continue to go well. Watch the net debt position.

I myself haven’t been here for a while but you’ll better believe that my funds have been... after strong indicators coming out of Ghana I am happy to leave for the coming months. You never know I may be able to get my summer car after all, long live Petra
