Why the big drop today, this is one of the very best hedges against inflation, makes no sense.

Billie really wanted to be acquired.
Its deal with PG got nixed by the Feds, but EPC was able to scoop up the four year old company!

One year ago today P&G was 146.92 10 cents higher than todays close, Dow is up from 28,335 to 35,600
in the past year for a 25,6 % gain What a horrible performance by Taylor and his crew.

P&G is an amazing company considering they sell many essentials that many cannot live without e.g. Toilet Paper, Razors, Feminine care products, shampoo, shower gel, laundry detergent, air fresheners, dishwasher detergents, diapers and toothpaste. the company has a very large moat meaning they have the ability to keep competitors out because of their sheer size and their portfolio makes them a top company to invest in for the long long term, so if you add it make sure you hold for a long time to come whatever "negative" news comes out won't do much or maybe even anything to the company like the vaccine mandate it'll be a mere leaf in the wind and that's about it, unless anything massive changes for P&G that will harm it maybe then it would be a sell take care all.

PG is doing great. Just wish S&P 500, Nasdaq, Russell 2000 were doing better...

I guess the 4 people boycotting PG over vaccine mandates aren’t having much affect?

If Bank of America is right and P&G hits 160 next year the stock appreciation plus the dividend would be a 14+% gain in a year which would be wonderful for this company.

P&G productions in 184 countries... a lot of them are made locally or regionally.. It is a true global company...
    more so than faceBook.

A while back, PG makes barely $1 a qtr a while back... Today,, You check it out..

Sure P&G is old, it has innovation also.. To "growth" or (momentum) investors, this is a death stock..

But is a global consumer product power house. it is products are used around the world.

With that, have a good thanksgiving....

Now PG makes $1.7 - $1.8 a quarter... When Jim Cramer said PG IS a no growth stock and safety stocks.

back when P&G products are used in 150 countries... LMAO...

I do not see PG going much higher; maybe $150. And January 3rd a possible down trend driven by energy??
The last spit was 06/21/04 when the price was listed at $46.43 (using Yahoo's stats, so it could have been $92.86)
So, $70 per share would be a nice price to increase holdings in these days of inflated stock prices; and nice to double my shares and more after January 3rd.
This company has assisted in putting one daughter through private college and will do the same for a grand daughter. My bullish feeling is largely generated by it's value today and it's past history of operations.

PG is a buy on the dip, despite inflationary pressures the consumer will not cut back their needed staples due to passed on price increases dictated by inflation.

Profit margins are very likely to stay intact. PG is a core holding for any investor, young or old.

    INCOMPETENT IMPEACHED FOREVER
A poll conducted by Data for Progress and Invest in America showed that 51 percent of Republicans said they are supportive of tax hikes impacting Americans earning more than $400,000 in income per year. That included 21 percent who said they "strongly" support and 30 percent who "somewhat" support the proposal.
