Hate to admitt it: we are near a certain key technical level; only a few percent lower till it's a possible time to buy. Like I said 23 days ago. However: I do not like the structure of Prosus. I do not like their buyback of Naspers. The prosus buyback is fair; but the rest of the money should be put to better work: either more buyback or invest in new businesses (show the direction it wants to go). Not any tiny investments; larger and more aggresive moves by creating new entities that work on their own with their own legal structure but under the control of Prosus would be great. Then I would be happy to buy.

Added a very small position: I do think Prosus will go towards 77,50 EURO.
However, due to abritrage there is a major discount. If you can wait the price of 77,50 EURO is good first entry.

77.50 EURO is a strong support according to my charts.
For those who can't wait low 80 EURO is already fine from a fundamental perspective. Note: I dislike their purchasing of Nasper shares.

The main question is: why does Prosus buy back shares of Naspers?
    Answers are appreciated.

I am a long term investor in Prosus and see the challenges Tencent is facing in China as a threat to the share price of Prosus. Unfortunately they are not allowed to sell a bigger stake in Tencent. .

I own Naspers because they own a huge stake in Tencent and they spun off shares of Prosus and so I now own all three. Prosus have wisely used the divested Tencent gains into start ups all over but unfortunately the value of these entities are not reflected it its share price. As a shareholder it would be nice to pay a cash dividend to its shareholders or as these start ups mature and go public, give existing shareholders a share of the new company. I lament the fact that because it is not a US based company, just like NOK, ERIC and BB, they trade at a discount to their intrinsic value. I don't know if it is because mutual funds and ETFs based in the US are not buyers of these stocks or there is little retail interests in them. Regardless, I believe in these companies and are long on these. Perhaps contrarian in view. Thoughts. God Bless and stay well.

Prosus sold today a 3% stake in Tencent for 15bils to invest in new technology start-ups. Maybe that's why it fell more than 4% today.
Anyway buy the dip. I don't think it will stay too long this low.

Prosus was set up to unload Tencent to rich Dutch people. The Dutch people have the liquidity Naspers was looking for. That's my opinion.

It's Tencent with a discount and all other participations for free... The holding has a discount of +- 30% and participation in companies involved in fast growing industries (delivery hero, PayU, IFood, Byju, ...). With a lot of presence in China via it's 31% stake in Tencent and a presence in Latin America and other parts of the world via it's other stakes. This really is a nice diversification for a beginner's investment portfolio (like me).

Prosus will try to buy Churchill Capital II (CCX) outright as they own much of it already, it can be had at 5-6 times sales and less than 20 PE. They need free cash flow and will have it in year 1. CCX amended their by-laws Jan 25 to allow a sale at full founders share value so it would make sense for all parties. Look for news this month - early April.

Prosus owns 30 percent of Tencent, who just invested in a Chinese digital learning co.- adding Skillsoft/Global knowledge - aka Churchill II, will allow them to be the dominant player in the growing and profitable space - > $300 bn market.
