A $5 special dividend from the Permian sale would be nice. It would help make up for the unnecessary Covid dividend cut

Just hold, Shell is like weed in your garden: it will keep coming back. Big company that will play a big role in the energy transition the upcoming years!

Covid trader, you are the most negative poster on this board if you're not happy with shell's management just sell and stop wining!

Nobody on this board has mentioned the cause of the down turn today the New African Covid. I don't know if the market will start going back up now that it has dropped 885 points today after getting this shocking news. I hope this will only be a 1 or 2 market day drop and will start rising. I wonder if the computer have jumped in and started selling off assets?

So the oil is released from the reserves. The price of oil jumped $1.00 a barrel. Gasoline will follow.

Hi, assuming the December 10th vote supports Shell becoming solely UK based, (rather than dual status with the Dutch), what happens to the A and B share status? Will a single Shell share emerge and if so how does this work with the difference between the two type of share A / B valuations?

A barrel of oil should cost much more than it does. How do you think apple, Amazon or Tesla makes so much money. I assure you not by taking a few dollar per I Phone or truck full of Amazon merchandise or a Tesla. For petroleum to be on par with these oil would have to cost $300 a barrel or more.

Does anyone know why the discrepancy as far as a dividend posted on the Yahoo of 164 versus 192 that is paid?

Does anyone know how we're gonna get to vote? Do the respective brokers send out proxy papers for voting?

Anything Shell can do to decouple from Royal Dutch is a positive move. I worked for Shell prior to the RD takeover and it was a GREAT company. Combine A&B shares, pay the 400 million Dutch tax bill and distance itself from the Netherlands. Better yet, elect a new CEO, replace the BOD, move back to the U.S. and become Shell Oil Company again.

Oil companies invest so much money and labor in supplying energy to everyone for a fraction of the profit of the big tect or medical or middle man's. Time for oil companies to get their fair share.

I’m wrong it’s 20 plus million bbls of oil per day. How is 50 million bbls going to help.

There is a special meeting on December 10th. I hope they decide to leave the EU, increase prices by 30% and increase dividend 200%

OPEC + is not going to tolerate C Nile Joe throwing idle threats around. Oil Reserves will not reduce oil prices; they kick the can downstream road a small piece but cause even higher oil prices by further delays in investment for actual reserves.
People need to wake up; we are Multi decades away from NOT relying on Fossil Fuels.
Politicians are fear mongers full of hot air and little solutions!

I find it interesting that Politicians seem to be reluctant to looking into the good aspects of CO2. Is it fear that they may discover that increased levels of CO2 is not nearly as catastrophic as claimed and in fact offers much more positives attributes than negative.

Recently listened to a road test of an EV.

The tester drove about 200 miles and stopped for about 40 minutes for a fast re-charge.

He paid $8 for that re-charge.

Looks like there's a MUCH better profit margin in the electricity for that re-charge then there would have been for the sales of gas ..... Hmmm.
