American Airlines expands international, domestic service from Miami airport
    December 01, 2021 06:14 PM
American Airlines, the biggest carrier at Miami International Airport, announced Wednesday the addition of four international and six domestic routes to give the airline 378 daily flights from Miami, its most ever.
Expanding during the busy winter season, American will fly to Chetumal, Mexico; San Andres, Colombia, and to Dominica and Anguilla. Also, new flights are slated to six U.S. destinations.
“This winter we’ve doubled down on our commitment to Miami, hiring more than 1,500 new team members and adding new destinations, more frequencies to existing markets and more wide-body flying,” said Juan Carlos Liscano, vice president of American’s Miami hub operations. “As a result, American will be operating the largest schedule in the history of our Miami hub, serving more passengers than ever before.”
The four additional flights to Latin America solidify the Miami airport’s longstanding position as the gateway to the region and are contributing to record passenger traffic at the airport. Envoy will operate the biweekly flights with Embraer 175 airplanes designed for short to mid-range flights.
Airport officials said they were expecting to move 1.7 million passengers during the 12-day Thanksgiving travel period from Nov. 19 to Tuesday, the busiest in the airport’s history over that holiday and the heaviest traffic since the beginning of the pandemic.
American Airlines is now flying nearly 380 flights daily from Miami to 140 destinations, a 19% increase in seat availability compared to the pre-pandemic winter season of 2019-2020.
“Thanks to American’s steadfast commitment over the last year and a half as our largest airline partner, MIA has rebounded from the pandemic to become the fastest-growing airport in the U.S. and the busiest U.S. airport for international passengers,” said Ralph Cutié, the Miami airport’s director and CEO.
The flight to Dominica will be the first regularly scheduled direct flight from the United States to the tiny English-speaking Caribbean Island not to be confused with the Dominican Republic. The island nation is pushing to become a bigger tourist destination, with a new international airport set to open in 2025.
Meanwhile, American is also adding a daily flight to Salt Lake City, Utah, and weekly flights on Saturday to five domestic destinations in the winter season: Albany, New York; Burlington, Vermont; Madison, Wisconsin; Syracuse, New York; and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The airline’s winter season expansion from Miami International Airport includes service to:
Chetumal, Mexico — biweekly flight on Wednesday and Saturday beginning Dec. 1

San Andres, Colombia — biweekly flight on Wednesday and Saturday beginning Dec. 4

Dominica — biweekly flight on Wednesday and Saturday beginning Dec. 8

Anguilla — biweekly flight on Wednesday and Saturday beginning Dec. 11

Salt Lake City, Utah — daily flight through April 4, 2022

Albany, N.Y. — weekly Saturday flight through April 2, 2022

Burlington, Vermont — weekly Saturday flight through April 2, 2022

Madison, Wisconsin — weekly Saturday flight through April 2, 2022

Syracuse, N.Y. — weekly Saturday flight through April 2, 2022

Tulsa, Oklahoma — weekly Saturday flight through April 2, 2022

There are now widespread reports omicron is mild and may even replace Delta. If true we may well see a great 2022 for RR .

Been resourcing rycey all summer ... wish I got in then when it was $1.30. still great prices. I was watching something yesterday .. I'm not sure if it was Dateline. but there was a special on Boom electric aircraft in the makings and they said that they're working with company that used to make the engines for the Concorde. so that would be Rolls Royce. they said that the engine that they are researching is being tested to keep the decibel levels to a safe zone to be able to fly over land without problems without damaging property, etc . they want to upgrade current airline engines being that they haven't changed much. Saud they would run on 100 sustainable clean fuel. . to the nuclear power that would be storing hydrogen will be huge also. there is no way a company like this even the same thing with GE Going Back 2 years ago when it was at rock bottom prices . rycey should not be trading at these prices. I know it's been going up...looking forward to getting a position here ...as soon as I free up some cash. good luck to all

when the index is down it goes down faster. when index is up it goes up slower. not a good signal. not yet... will take time. will keep ramping up on the deeps. I am confident it will reach 3 in 2 years.

I don't understand why this is considered just a reopening stock. RR has so much more. Consider it's new electric airplane which could be the Tesla of Electric Airplanes. Imagine a quieter airplane that doesn't require fosil fuel. This is surely the future of Aviation.

Does anybody understand what this fund does? It’s wierd to see a company with an P/E ratio far less than 1. Currently this company earns $25 per share. Yet it’s market price is $0.013. That just doesn’t happen. I’m baffled?

December is approaching and tus the season and reason to be jolly. Price Target of $2.27 by March 2022. PE is Only 4.97 as of closing price Today. Stock is intrinsically under valued, and a value. Cup and handle pattern formed for breakout, upward trending, “Gold Star crossing- bullish event”, profits are up and stock still at pandemic lows.
2M people traveled yesterday and we are on pace to meet or eclipse pre-pandemic levels and flight bookings everywhere, Charts, Trend on correct volume is upward as is profits and continued financial improvements. Will breach 52 week high in December and rally going into earnings report. Also all the Green efforts by company when Green is in and wave of future and transition. Any downside is minimal and upside significant. Too much good news and events and giant contracts to remain at $1.90 as closed at $1.97 twice before recently and will break higher. Comments Based on Due Diligence, Analytical Simulations and Modeling, Charting, earnings projections, etc. And reviewed other independent analysis inputs from others that came to similar conclusion. “Just The Facts Ma’am”.
Pencil Christmas because stock will be over $2 by then.
    Cheers

In the next few quarters hopefully the market should understand the value and quality company Rolls-Royce is and value it significantly higher and share price. Really surprised all their EV and SMR and SAF Fuel and all the green technology undertakings in process has not really increased the price. The company has really turned around and is making significant strides with massive contracts etc. as everyone has posted. And RYCEY has a $16B market cap.
Then you get a stock like RIVIAN that is an EV startup company that has made 156 cars to date, may make $1M in sales this year as si far NO earnings, and after IPO is valued at $127B market cap, way more than Ford and GM and 8 times RYCEY.
Sometimes the market is just way out of sync, This makes RYCEY a great value play, As once everybody realizes the value of the stock will keep significantly going higher.
I guess in today’s strange market if they said they would accept cryptocurrency The stock could go to $8 for no reason except Different Stock Buyer exposure.
On the good notes again there was announcements that were exceeding pre-pandemic air traffic flights by several airline companies. This will have to play out in the earnings report, along with the other contracts they’re doing. Cheers
